This program offers exercises like word matches, beyond definition questions, “meaning” exercises, crossword puzzles and more. After a section is completed with mostly correct answers, the program displays an animated reward and the student progresses to the next word list.

This program does a pretty good job at going beyond simple definition memorization to actual word usage; it leads students into exploring the overall intention of a sentence or paragraph to decipher meaning of a word.
